Project status

Busy times. Since the day we decided to get married I haven’t had the time to finish off some of my projects. I’ve got several ideas for iPhone apps, but with each new feature I add, a week passes by. That’s because I’m still learning the basics of Cocoa and the iPhone SDK. Unfortunately everything has to go fast these days, especially on the web. Most ideas are only good for a couple of weeks/months and it’s best to keep it a big secret until the launch (the Apple style). It’s important to have time on your hands and the skills to put your ideas into practice asap. I’m not going to keep my project a big secret until launch, because it’s just a big experiment and most of all an exercise for me to learn Cocoa.
My Coffee Counter app is just a button and a counter. But during the development process I’ve added some neat features like twitter support and location services. So if you just drank a coffee and add it to the app, it would know where you drank it and twitter it automatically. The only thing I would have to do is to make a site where all coffees are grouped on a map like the Smule project. Sounds cool, now I just need to find the time to make it all worth more than words.
