My girlfriend is graduating this week at St. Lucas Antwerp, by next week she will be Master in the Graphical Arts, sounds cool – eh :) If you are in Antwerp this or next weekend you should go to the exhibition and check out her book, it’s really good. Next friday there will be a graduation party where I will be one of the deejays. The party will be at Trix, really cool place. Be there! (facebook event)
Soulwax brengt een nieuwe compilatie cd uit. Het is een dubbele cd met allerlei remixen die ze over de jaren maakte, met ook een paar onuitgebrachte- en zelfs een paar exclusieve (hard-to-find) remixen. Maar da’s nog niet alles, want deze zaterdag (13 oktober) brengen ze hun eerste film uit! De laatste jaren reisden ze de wereld rond en onder hen ging ook een filmmaker mee. De documentaire zal ‘Part Of The Weekend Never Dies’ noemen en ik kijk er alvast naar uit…. ’sex, drugs & elektrotrash’ :D
De Gentse broers hebben ook heel leuke websites. Milk and cookies zorgde voor hun schitterende soulwax.com, deze man zorgde voor een complete discography en hun twiter pagina waar altijd wel laatste nieuwsjes te volgen zijn.
