Touchgrind
One of the few iPhone apps where I was waiting for, Touchgrind. It’s the first multi-touch skateboarding game and probably my favourite app for the next weeks. Check out the trailer above. It takes a while before you can properly handle the skateboard, but once you’ve got that covered, it’s loads of fun for a game that’s brand new. Maybe it’s a bit too hard zoomed in, but I guess it just takes a while to handle properly. Touchgrind is available on the App Store for €3,99 (buy).
Dirk Van Tichelt at the Olympics

Former classmate Dirk Van Tichelt just performed at the Olympic Games in Beijing. Back in school he did Judo already, but I could never have thought that I would be watching him play at the Olympics. The mach has just finished and I’m really bothered to say that he’s out already due to a mistake by the referee. His contestant from Azerbaijan made an ippon but Dirk was already outside so it shouldn’t have count. That sux! But thats what sports are all about I guess.
Anyway, have you had a chance to see the opening ceremony? Man, I don’t think the guys from London can do it better like that. Check out these beau-ti-ful pictures and video after the break.
[UPDATE] He got repechage and got 5th. Congrats dude!!
Games
