Honeymoon
Anneleen and I are looking for a place to go for our honeymoon. We would like to have a ‘luxurious’ beach holiday in a land with loads of history and culture. My quest for the perfect location began by asking friends. They told me: Thailand, Tahiti, Mauritius, New Zealand, Sicily, Cyprus, Madeira, Bora Bora, Malta, …
After doing some research we discovered that it’s rainy season in Thailand. That Bora Bora and Tahiti are way to far away. New Zealand is way too expensive. Sicily, Cyprus and Madeira seemed doable, but might have a barren landscape. So Mauritius and Malta are the only options we seemed to have. Until… BALI came up! Apparently Bali has it all: beautiful beaches, loads of culture and fine weather in September. Some beaches in Bali are known for surfing, which we both love to do, so it all seems to fit. Next step… get my vacation fixed at work ;)
